Here is information about the river and Glassbar Island cleanup held on August 15th, 2009.

The Glassbar Island Volunteers held a 'River and Island Cleanup' on Saturday, August 15th. Some of the volunteers pick up trash on the island while other volunteers retrieved trash and old tires from the Coast fork of the Willamette river adjacent to Glassbar island (see 2 images below).
